Another lobster post

I did one about three months ago. :)

I tend to choose whatever looks good to me, and seafood usually catches my eye. Plus I don’t get to eat lobster that often. :)

I know I shouldn’t decide based on photos alone, but this one from Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine – called Live Boston Lobster and Glass Vermicelli Braised with Teochew Spices in Claypot – kind of got to me. Besides, it’s part of a 3-in-1 set menu that includes dishes like Teochew Style Hotpot with Seafood and Tianjin Cabbage in Superior Broth (whew – try saying that in one go), and half of a Teochew Style Roasted Suckling Pig.  

As part of its Mid-Autumn special, the restaurant will also be serving you its Sesame Glutinous Rice Balls in Walnut Paste when you order the set menu. So it does feel like a complete, celebratory meal.

The thing is, if I want the set, I can only have it for dine-in from 14 to 24 September 2018. And it costs S$238 (usual price, S$298).

Of course I’d need my friends and family with me. :)

So... When was the last time you had lobster like this? :)
