5 Macanese treats for your afternoon tea

Updated: Mar 25

Just because you’re on holiday doesn’t mean you have to give up your routine… like afternoon tea. :)

If you happen to be in Macau, you definitely shouldn’t miss this relaxing ritual. You wouldn’t want to pass up on the tasty Macanese dishes you can have with your favourite cuppa, like the ones Mandy recommends.

In fact, they’re just some of the desserts and savoury bites you will find in The Manor’s Chá Gordo (“fat tea” in Portuguese, it also means “rich spread” or “feast”) menu. The family-style afternoon tea happens every Saturday from 3 to 6pm, starting at MOP148. There’s dim sum and other drinks, like Xarope de Figo (homemade fig syrup), too.

It's a nice way to spend the afternoon. :)
